High-End Sunglasses: Six Quality Standards for Premium Craftsmanship
High end sunglasses, judged by the build instead of the name on the temple. Every pair here passes all six checks of the Aoolia High-End Standard: frame material, hinge, temple core, lens labeling, full measurements and repairability. Not sure about the fit? Most frames support Virtual Try-On, so you can see the pair on your own face before you order.
What Makes Sunglasses High End?

A high price or a famous logo doesn't settle it either way.So we wrote the rule down. A pair joins this collection only when it passes every check below. Miss one, and it stays in our main sunglasses collection, however good it looks.

High End Sunglasses FAQ
What makes sunglasses high end?
Build quality you can verify: frame material, hinge, temple core, lens labeling, published measurements and repairability. At Aoolia, a pair must pass all six of those checks to be listed as high end.
Are high end sunglasses worth it?
They are when you're paying for parts that last: a solid hinge, a frame you can adjust and repair, and clearly labeled lenses. The extra you pay on the designer shelf mostly buys the name, in-store service and proprietary lens options, so decide what those are worth to you separately.
Do expensive sunglasses block more UV?
Price doesn't set UV performance; the lens does. Look for a UV400 rating and a listed filter category. Every pair in this collection lists both.
Are all high end sunglasses polarized?
No. Polarization cuts reflected glare from surfaces like water and pavement, and it's a separate choice from frame quality. Each product page says whether the lens is polarized.
How is this collection different from Aoolia's acetate sunglasses?
Acetate sunglasses are grouped by material alone. High end sunglasses must also pass the hinge, temple core, lens labeling, measurement and repair checks, and the collection includes stainless steel and titanium frames.
